Atom Tong Xi Jun

Atom Tong is a Partner at Plasseraud IP. He is a dually qualified Chinese and European Patent Attorney, as well as a UPC Representative. 

He plays a key role in the business development strategy for the Chinese market, alongside his technical responsibilities. 

He received his LL.M. Master’s Degree in Intellectual Property from Shanghai University, a post-graduate program in Intellectual Property Rights, the first IP Education Program in China. 

Prior to joining Plasseraud IP’s Shanghai office in 2008, Atom worked as a trainee engineer with Siemens Industry Building Consultant (SIBC), in Munich, Germany, in 2006. 

He was transferred to Plasseraud IP Paris office to further develop his IP profession and play an unique role as a bridge between China and Europe by providing professional IP services to both Chinese and European clients.

He focuses on all field of transactional IP matters in China and in Europe, he is specialized in patent prosecution and enforcement, as well as other IP related services including such as IP litigation and negotiation.

Atom joined Plasseraud IP in 2008 and was appointed partner in 2025.
